Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy

Please read this policy carefully before completing your registration. By enrolling in any CPR Maryland course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

Course Rescheduling Terms

Standard Rescheduling Fee

Students who need to change their course date must submit a request before the scheduled start time. A $25 rescheduling fee will be charged per instance.

Reschedule Insurance

At the time of initial registration, students may purchase Reschedule Insurance for a one-time, non-refundable fee of $15. This add-on allows the student to reschedule up to two (2) times at no additional charge, subject to the following conditions:

No-Show Policy

A “No-Show” is defined as any registrant who fails to attend their scheduled course or skills session without prior notification to CPR Maryland.

Can I transfer my registration to a friend or coworker?
No, all registrations are tied to a specific individual through the American Heart Association and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
We understand that unexpected situations arise. However, our no-refund policy applies in all cases. If you anticipate needing flexibility, we strongly recommend purchasing Reschedule Insurance ($15) at the time of registration, which allows you to reschedule up to two times at no extra cost.
Rescheduling requests must be submitted before your course start time. Requests made after the class has begun will not be honored and will be treated as a No-Show.
No, digital course access is activated and assigned to your account immediately upon purchase, regardless of whether you have logged in or begun the course material.
