Awesome, easy, and straight to the point! Loved being able to do the in-person skills by myself and was able to retry sections that I didn’t pass the first time. The room was clean and everything was easily accessible, they had a stool too for us short humans. The online assessments were very easy and didn’t take long at all to complete. I definitely will be returning when I need to renew.

Best experience I have had to date with any CPR training class that I have taken. As an online college student and busy individual, this set up was absolutely ideal. Doing the online portion at my own pace and then doing the in-person skills portion (only took me 20 mins) when I was able to really made it so much easier for me to get my certification.

Annie and her team were the absolute best. I received two separate certifications, as their team offers many different certifications based on your professional needs! Annie was absolutely the most understanding, patient, kind and considerate instructor I’ve ever had in all my years of drivers ed training, swim lessons, sports lessons, even the memories of my piano lesson instructor does not come close to the level of professional competency, compassion, and guidance provided by the same day CPR team in Annapolis that Annie lead. This is the only place you ever need to go if you’re looking to get certification in CPR, first aid, heartsaver competencies, and more! Their website offers the ability to complete many certifications as opposed to just specializing in one particular kind of certification, and you will never beat the effort the team puts into their students to ensure their success. I genuinely couldn’t and wouldn’t have completed two separate certifications for my job if it wasn’t for their guidance! They made sure I didn’t give up on myself. Do yourself a favor and register with this team!

I was extremely disappointed with the setup at this Same Day CPR training center. As nurses and clinicians, our CPR skills directly impact patient survival, yet this facility relies on a computer monitor and a Ring camera setup with someone talking through a speaker to evaluate skills. There was no actual instructor present in the room to observe form, offer real-time physical feedback, or properly assess compression depth and technique. Having a healthcare professional complete a critical AHA skill check through a video doorbell speaker is dynamic, sloppy, and completely sub-par for medical credentialing. When I spoke to Kelly, the owner's sister, she brushed me off and said "This is what AHA wants" I let her know, pediatric lives are in HER hands.

Absolutely recommend! Very easy to learn, test allow for practice before exam with the mannequin, overall very helpful and easy.

This experience was super easy and efficient for those who have experience with CPR. If you need a little extra help from instructors it would be beneficial to do it somewhere else. But if you just need a renewal and something that is efficient and easy this is the best way to go!! Shelly was super helpful and on the ball when it came to needed links and assistance. She was super friendly and so helpful!!

Needed BLS for med program. Clean and easy to use. Plenty of resources for success. Really like the practice feature before assessment to adjust to using mannequin. Also like the retake option for assessments. Step-stool was helpful, but would prefer if able to do on floor and/or adjust table height for adult compressions (for shorter people). Instructions on location and process very easy to follow and understand. 10/10 would recommend, especially for students. 👍❣️

I used Same Day CPR Annapolis location to renew my BLS. The online portion of the class was very easy to follow and helpful in preparing for the hands on portion. The location for the in person portion of the course was easy to find and the facility was great, everything was set up nicely inside and all the tools needed were easy to locate. The instructions given prior to arrival were also very helpful in finding the facility along with knowing what to prepare for. Would highly recommend using their services!

I cannot recommend this impersonal option at all. Been certified BLS since 1992. Been on over 20 real codes, in and out of hospital. Taught CPR/BLS for years and can unequivocally state the testing parameters of the (my) adult mannikin were too tight and do not, can not, reflect a provider's ability in a real situation. Trust me, all be well if you vary rate and depth 5-10% over the course of a 10 minute code. And you will! It failed me four times with scores never broaching 30%; Inaccurate, unreal and unbelievable. In the middle of my third attempt, the ORG calls me and someone says she can help me over the phone! Oh Good Lord! How, I wonder? She has no advanced certs and has been BLS for only 4 months. She's there to handle technical questions, she says. Outsourced customer support or CPR...BS. I bailed and will find a real evaluator, someone I've worked with in the field, someone who really knows, not an electro-mechanical linked manikin on a computer driven algorithm. I worry for the next generation...

I have been saying for a long time that I wanna be CPR certified. I finally did it. The online course/modules definitely explained everything. And the self serve/in person skill test was definitely a good idea. No pressure. Highly recommend recommended 10 out of 10.

Pluses- local, on demand and timely. Easy transition from on-line portion to skills training. Great when in need of fast process. Slightly costly for a nonsupervised 20-30min use and add on fees for cme/certication. Latter should be included.

Great program. You’re able to do a practice test before each individual skills test. That specifically helped me feel more prepared. Definitely use the email for guidance locating the building…google maps guided me the wrong way.

Came in clutch. ACLS expired a month before I was expecting it to so it was down to the wire. Had to pay but better than doing it over.

I give my experience a 4 out of 5 only because the mask for the adult was too small for the mannequins mouth. I was really having a hard time putting that on the mannequins mouth. It was like it barley fit. However everything else was great I love the new feature to practice before the actual scoring part and the demo videos. The set up was amazing from start to finish.

Everything was great! Just had some trouble with connection and it stopped saving my progress at some point, but I called the number provided and got it fixed quickly!

I’m definitely going to do this again for my cpr certification. The online assessment didn’t take long at all. I completed it within about 1hr tops. The in person assessment with the mannequins were simple and straight to the point. I did have to do a couple retry’s and practice assessments to gauge how I can pass but afterwards it was easy. The computer talks you through everything so no need to panic! I was done within 30 mins. Beats taking a class for 3-4hrs.

Update April 2026: when my work schedule suddenly changed the day BEFORE my scheduled hands-on session, the team at Bayside CPR was quick to respond, reschedule, and reassure me. The video instructions were CLUTCH. I appreciated the pace of the online skills course and was confident in my skills at the end of the session.

I highly recommend Bayside CPR! Shelly was incredibly helpful in preparing me to pass both my ACLS and BLS certifications. She even checked on me prior to my manikin test, which really helped ease my nerves and showed how much she cared for us to pass our certifications. It’s also amazing that they are based in the Philippines and are able to provide such effective virtual training. The support and quality of teaching were just as strong as in-person, if not better.

This was a very easy and seamless process. I have been getting all of my recertifications (ACLS/BLS/PALS) with Bayside CPR for the past 8 years and I look forward to recertifying in two years.

It was a little creepy going downstairs by myself into the testing room. I wonder why they decided not to have a human instructor. There are now no opportunities for questions. I did not find a stool, so it was difficult to position my shoulders over the mannequin properly. The online training was good.

If your ACLS/PALS/BLS is expiring the next day this is the place to register and get your license the same day. I did my PALS, it was very convenient for me. I did online modules @ home which were very useful and skills session on-site which took me max 45min and I was done. They have multiple locations and many open slots. I had to reschedule my skills session for some personal reason and it was very convenient rescheduling it. Also, I really like the fact that you are by yourself doing skill in a room. It's all computerized. You perform CPR and it gives you feedback with small demo vdo on how to improve. And if you have any problem with computer or mannequin there is a live person available on ring camera to guide you.

Online coarse is doable I can go at my own pace, and easy to find location for the rqi station. Completed in like 10 minutes so not bad. I also appreciate them being flexible because I had to adjust the time in which I go to the rqi station, so I appreciate that. Would def return.

I have been using same day cpr:bayside CPR for about 6 years now for renewal, and I have nothing but good things to say about their services. The online learning portal is very easy to use, their instructions for in person skills is clear and easy to understand. They also allow you to move through all the skills as quickly as you like. You don’t have to wait the full hour to move on to the next skills, as I was renewing ACLS/PALS/BLS all at the same time. The time it takes to complete skills is dependent on the user - less experience may take longer to complete. All 3 skills took me approximately 40 minutes doing them all back to back. For a in hospital clinician this service is invaluable.

This was a great way to renew my ACLS certification. I am a travel RN, not from around here. Your company was recommended to me by one of the RNs with whom I work. I did the online portion in the comfort of my home and the skills check off at one of the Bayside CPR locations in MD. No instructor physically there, but I could phone a friend, if I had questions or needed assistance. The room was clean, neat and set up, ready to go as soon as I walked in. Sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer were available. The manikins, adult and infant, were on the table, BVMs hanging on the wall. Instructions were clear and simple. It was great to have real time feedback from the computer as I was doing chest compressions & giving rescue breaths. I was done in less than 30 minutes. It was thorough, straightforward and very efficient. Thank you, Bayside CPR. I will certainly use you again in the future, and I will tell my friends about you as well.

Absolutely loved this whole setup! It’s such a timesaver, especially when you’re in quick need of recert or even initial cert. I loved being able to take the online portion first, and being able to skip through if you already know the info. The emails and uploaded videos for entering the facility, and a helpful hint for maneuvering the manikins. Just a helpful suggestion from my experience though, because I had to learn the hard way, DO NOT watch the computer while doing compressions or ventilations, it just threw me off lol. I also love how everything is set up to help you get done as quickly and still be efficient. I will recommend this facility to everyone! top notch and THANK YOU for all y’all do!! 🫶

I had a question about which course was the right course for me and both times, the staff was very helpful. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the online course version since I’ve only ever done it in the classroom before but after getting stuck in another state due to airline cancellations, it was great to be able to do the coursework while waiting for my rescheduled flight then take the skills test when I got back. Otherwise, I would not have been able to start my new job on time. The coursework site is not the most mobile friendly but it is doable! I’m sure it’s much easier on a laptop. It is well paced and informative and I felt prepared for my skills test. It was nice being in a room alone to be able to do it without feeling like you look ridiculous. The skills test was helpful and gave live feedback. The screen could be distracting at times since it shows a live metronome and I would begin to lose pace, but then I would redo it making sure to just be looking down at the manikin instead and it was way better (& more realistic!). Definitely recommend this to anyone needing certified and I am glad I was able to get this done down the street and a time convenient for me.

God bless the lady who remotely unlocked the door for me because I struggled getting the lock box open on the front door (not Bayside’s fault, probably a mixture of user error and the freezing temps 😅). All in all it only took about 20 minutes and cert was emailed to me before I even walked out of the room. 10/10 recommend and will make sure to refer coworkers in need of renewal to Bayside!

Since the pandemic, I’ve always done online CPR instruction for the convenience of getting it done in a short period of time. I really love the CPR hybrid course offered by same-day CPR. The online self paced modules educates you based on your knowledge and you don’t have to sit through a whole bunch of information that you already know. The skills portion of this course took me about 15 minutes.

I love the new technology and how easy and convenient it is to renew using the same day option. They have time slots available every hour throughout the day. So it's super easy to pop in and do your skills on your own schedule. Also great if your like me and wait until last minute to renew your certifications. If you still prefer the classroom or instructor led skills sessions rest assured those are awesome as well 🙂

I would highly recommend taking your CPR here. The registration process was easy. I received reminders leading up to the class which was really helpful. The location was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The class started on time. The materials were easy to follow. I have used this company twice now once when I had to recertify the same week I realized my BLS/ACLS had already expired and this year for recertifying - both times have been so easy and it is the fastest and most efficient way I’ve ever experienced to complete these certifications after many years of having to do so. Easy instructions for everything and very helpful making the experience completely stress free which I very much appreciate.

The hands-on training was great, and the instructor was friendly, confident, and engaging. Unfortunately, the video for the First Aid section didn’t work, which made that part a bit disorganized. The trainer did her best to cover all topics from memory, but we finished about 45 minutes early. Overall, still a good experience, just recommend having a backup for the video in future sessions.

It was very neat and orderly room. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. If you need help or have any questions they answer you through via ring camera which is very helpful. 10/10 I RECOMMEND!!!

From my experience this time (and past experience too) , I am so pleased with just how thought out it all was. From booking online to getting to the class, I was well informed about the process. They sent emails about everything . So they had me do the online portion and the skills part was a new experience with it being no-instructor led…still there were tips and tricks as well as detailed training videos to help students. I am most pleased with how fast it went ( I was out in 20minutes!! 😳🤗). If there is anything I could add is, please consider adding a physical roadside sign to help students to find the class location. I did pass it the first time, drive way entrance is narrow and tree foliage doesn’t really help. Thanks Bayside CPR!!! 😊👌👍

Absolutely amazing. I have always done the class that takes hours and a group of people. Doing it this way gave me a chance to retry areas I felt needed more work. I will definitely be doing my recertifications with this company from now on. I was skeptical of doing a BLS class this way but I am so happy I gave it a chance because it taught me better and was more individualized than the classes and I could retry without feeling incompetent. Great experience getting recertified for BLS. I needed to do it quickly for work because my cpr was expired. I was able to do the online portion same day and the skills portion the next morning. It was convenient to my schedule and I was able to book my skills appointment whenever I was available. The location was very close to me. Directions for my skills testing were easy to follow. The equipment was in good, working condition and I was done in less than an hour. The price was almost double what I normally pay, but it was worth it because of convenience. Plus, it’s only once every 2 years.

I require to be certified in BLS for my healthcare profession by the American Heart Association & came across Bayside via the AHA website. I did the combination online & in person class which was beneficial to me and my time. The online segment was incredibly helpful being that I could go back and review everything on my own time in a way let me focus on what I was deficient in knowing. The in-person component was helpful as well being that you’re not surrounded by others (in a class) that can may make you a bit intimidated, nervous or lose your focus. The building was in a great location and the videos they send instructing you in how to get through the building and work on the mannequins are incredibly helpful. The room for the lab was very clean and has all you need. I already recommended this company to another co-worker because of how streamlined this process was. After I passed, the email for my certification was immediate. Would use them again.

I couldn’t find the BVM and I started to panic until I saw it hanging on the wall. It was clear (not blue like I’m used to) so it blended in. That would have been helpful information.

Loved the course. Great material online that asks the test questions all throughout the course and gives opportunities to repeat the ones you miss (at the end). The skills test both teaches you and shows you how you’re doing during the test. The computer/manikin even allows you to retry if you need improvement.

Awesome way of getting certified without the hassle of an all day class. Do it on your own. The online portion is easy to understand and go through and the in person skills is really neat, once you get the hang of the manikin and it’s sensitive and proper placement. I’d recommend anyone needed to get certified or re-certified! Also very easy to get in touch with someone if you need help or have to reschedule! 10 stars if I could!

Please provide a stool for shorter people. I'm 5'5" and REALLY struggled with compressions because I couldn't get over the mannequin enough. Also, the mannequin I used was REALLY difficult to ventilate. Otherwise, was super fast and convenient.

I utilized the online option for my PALS recertification. The AHA online portion was sent quickly. Once completed, I went to the Baltimore City RQI location for the skills check portion with the mannequins. I was able to leave a night shift and go directly to the RQI location because there are many convenient time slots. The instructions are very clear and the mannequin/computer setup tells you how to improve your skills. The AHA ecard came directly to my email without issue. I will definitely use this company again!

This is the future of certification especially for medical providers who just need to renew. It took me only 30 min to finish even I failed the first try because my compressions were too deep. I watched “you tube” instruction before going in that was very helpful. I felt like I got more practise then in the class because you are getting instant feedback from computer while you are giving cpr. Easton location is clean and safe.See you in two years. It was fantastic! The videos shared of what to do before and when you get there were spot on.

The course itself was super simple, self-guided and easy to follow. Plenty of instructions and tutorials were available as well. The set-up of the room was great. Everything you needed plus some extra goodies were all there. Only issue I had was finding the actual location of the room inside the building. Once I found it, it was down a little creepy hallway. I felt better though that the door locks behind you as the room has a keypad on it. I also felt better that there was a ring camera inside the room for security. Overall, I'd use this company to renew the skills portion of my BLS a million times!!!

The room was very warm and humid making it uncomfortable while doing compressions. Wear very light clothing if you go. Also the area was a little rundown. Be prepared for stairs. I did like the ease of being able to complete my skills with the mixed mode learning independently and on my time.

Able to show up early. I was confused about the computer instructions but then an angel’s voice came over the camera speaker and helped me out. The mannequin skills was easy to pass once she helped me figure out what I was doing wrong. Only complaint was that I didn’t have the combo to the restroom. Women’s is 1430 by the way and should be included in the instructions if possible.

I’ve done this BLS class every other year for 20 years now. I’ve had several different instructors in 2 different states. This session with Greg Meyers was the most engaging one yet. I was disappointed at first when he said it would take longer than i expected it was going to take. But it was over before i knew it! Time flew by and I realized I was engaged the entire time. Weird. I got my certificate on thesame day, but then I needed one with the instructors name on it. I called and the person I spoke with was so nice and got me a new certificate. I did the automated CPR skills assessment for BLS using their RQI software in Laurel. While it was a bit intimidating doing it by myself, it was fairly straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow. My PRO TIP for anybody doing this is to MAKE SURE that you watch the demonstration videos on the screen prior to attempting them yourself!!! Because it provides you visual preparation so you can just follow along, basically. I passed in my first appointment.

This was the most convenient ACLS/BLS course I have ever taken! They have so many locations and times available. It was so easy to work around my schedule as a physician. They were great communicators and even called me to set up the course and payment. I feel like Bayside CPR went above and beyond and I will be using them for my certification renewal from now on. For reference: I did the ACLS online and skills as well as the BLS online and skills using the RQI software and manikins. There was no instructor in the course that I signed up for and I was able to work at my own pace over the allotted time (plenty of time by the way)

Overall, a great experience. Staff was super helpful when I ran into issues or needed some help. My only complaint was the adult mannequin and manipulating it for certain tasks. I have used other mannequins for previous certification and found they were easier to use than the adult mannequin here. Other than that no complaints!

I will say, I was a little hesitant to do a class that did not have a Human instructor, but it turned out to be a really good experience. The ease of booking, taking the class online, and then doing the skills portion and Person was very easy. They make it very easy to find the office location. Extremely simple, but very effective. I ultimately went with Bayside RQI because my institution did not have any classes within my required timeframe. The online modules were well thought, and the skills assessment was very insightful. I was doubtful to get my skills assessed with a mannequin but they provided real time feedback on my depth/ recoil and rate of compressions as well as even the exact volume of air with each ventilation. I actually had to adjust my technique and it helped fine tune my hands on skills. Highly recommend especially for in-hospital staff that will have these experiences regularly and need to get their certs quickly while also refreshing their skills. I plan to recert here in the future!

This center's service is amazing. I was not ready to get practice test at the center since I did not know about the first online section which I had to finish in advance. The center lady kindly rescheduled my practice and next day I could get the practice test. Through camera, she watch over me carefully and let me know what I did wrongly and how to fix my weakness. So I could pass the practice. She was very kind and delightful. I recommend this center highly.

Despite being a remote test without an instructor, the software in my RQI for my BLS renewal test was thorough in its feedback - chest compression depth, rate, recoil, et cetera! The only criticism I have is from a lack of being able to demonstrate any choking rescue techniques with the mannequins, especially for first-timers in learning BLS skills. I took an in-person class the first time I got my BLS certificate, so I got to see and perform a demonstration there. It may be difficult to do with the adult mannequin, but perhaps it can be incorporated into at least the infant mennequin?

I did BLS, ACLS, and PALS together. It was convenient to do on my own time. Equipment and computer guidance was clear and helpful. What was an issue, however, was having to repeat skills for all three courses despite having passed the same skill on previous course. Also, the RQI room is not well ventilated and didn't necessarily feel very safe.

I exclusively use Bayside CPR for my renewals. Although I was initially skeptical of the RQI setup (used to in-person training), it is extremely straightforward and user-friendly. Highly recommend this company. Everyone is very friendly and responsive. I had a question while doing my skills and someone texted and called me immediately. This is a well-oiled machine! See you guys again in 2 years for renewal!

I have been to many places to renew my CPR and this was hands down my best experience. The testing facility was easy to find, clean, and the video showing how to get into the location was perfect. I was a little worried because I am not tech savvy but I will definitely renew all of my certifications here from now on!

My first time using the RQI station, and I am glad I did. Finished the online portion at home in an hour. They give very detailed instructions on how to get to and use the RQI station. There is a camera inside and someone will come over the speaker if you need assistance. The RQI station was clean and in a safe area. You have an option to watch a quick demo before you perform each skill, I suggest you do. It helps so you can see what is expected of you and you can pass each quick session the first try ex. when they say count out loud, do it, it helps get your timing right. You have unlimited tries in a 1 hour time slot. It took me 30 mins and I had to repeat 2 skills twice. Using the RQI station was quick and efficient. I will always opt for this.

The online part of the course was very in depth. I wasn’t expecting it to take quite as long as it did, but I definitely learned some things! The hands-on portion was a really interesting experience!

Experience was different and took less time than being in a classroom with others, and an instructor. It did take some time to get use to the mannequins, but there is a number you can call and a camera that the instructor can see you and talk to you if help is needed.

Our instructor was very thorough and knowledgeable. He gave us tidbits to adminster First Aid/CPR/AED in difficult scenarios such as a drowning. He suggestee that we can still use the AED even though they may be soaked. As long as their chest is dry, no further harm will be given to the victim.

I went to Bayside CPR for my initial CPR certification and I was very satisfied with my visit. My instructor was Jose Estrada and he was very detailed in the information he was giving and easy going. For anyone looking to get CPR certified or even for their recertification, I think you should consider visiting Bayside!

Jose Estrada was an amazing instructor, he was friendly, funny, patient, he explained everything well and was willing to answer all of our questions. Very pleasant experience. I initially purchased the wrong class and Shelly was amazing with helping me switch to the fast-track class as intended. Informative but also quick & efficient for the fast-track CPR/BLS renewal certification. Everything was clean and neatly placed on the conference table before the start time. Educational, interactive, and fun! The instructor was able to manage a large group of participants and made sure they all had the skills to be able to perform what is needed in emergency situations. I would highly recommend taking this course if you have friends and or family that are at risk of the possibility of needed CPR. Hopefully not, but if it happens you will be ready 🙂
